A horse blessed with the wings of Pegasus and the horn of a unicorn. These creatures are known for their majestic beauty and mythical powers. They are coveted for their horns which is said to be the source of their magic, and for their blood which is rumored to grant immortality to those who consume it.

「 major arcana · L U X - element of light 」

▌ sagitta lumen (arrow of light) : LVL 1
Casting the spell grants the ability to conjure arrows of light made to quell the darkness and exorcise the unholy fiends who hide in it. For those neutral to the element, per arrow can inflict first degree burns and the impact of a punch; the arrows cannot impale the target and discharges upon hitting the surface. The conjurer can create a single arrow within a two second timeframe, and shoot simultaneously until all magical energy is depleted. Three arrows can be shot at once, but it uses more stamina to launch it and will require a cooldown of 20 seconds before being able to conjure arrows again. If chosen to, a single arrow can be charged to have more impact, but at the expense of a great deal of stamina and magical energy; charging time is up to 15 seconds, and a cooldown of five minutes. Because the arrows are made of light it isn't affected by wind, however the shot can curve whether it was the conjurer's intention or not.

▌ phantasma (apparition) : LVL 1
A spell that creates an intangible, illusory likeness to anything it is cast on. It essentially creates "copies" of a maximum of five; it can only be used on one physical body at a time, but no bigger than an elephant's size. The illusion lasts five seconds and takes a minute to cooldown; however may take longer before it can be used again depending on the size of the target and amount of copies. When engaged in battle, Vaska often uses this on himself or on his arrows to confuse opponents.



「 weapon · A R C U M   L U C I S 」

▌ An archer's longbow enchanted with alicorn magic. It is made of sacred white wood that's been carved with an ornate appearance and treated with gold embellishments. The string only materializes when it is in the hands of its rightful owner. This bow enhances the spell "sagitta lumen", and makes aiming more precise.

「 chivalrous · posh · inquisitive · vain · apprehensive · credulous 」

▌ Vaska projects himself as a cultured young man but may come across as rather vainglorious. However his vanity only applies to his appearance—quite expected since he was born into a prestigious line of alicorns who treasure their own beauty just as much as their magic. Many misunderstand him to be a one-dimensional self-absorbed individual; when in truth he is very curious and thoughtful of others. He is quite conscious of the social norms between all creatures, especially that of humans. Thus developed a polite and hushed persona. He compromises often in the company of others, trying to engage in conversations with anyone he would find pleasant enough and willing to entertain his nearly endless curiosity. However due to his high spirits of inquiry, he may come off a tad gullible as it isn't hard to have him believe tall tales. Even if he has lengthy patience and a fairly affable disposition, he is easy to anger especially if he or anyone he associated pleasantly with gets treated poorly—he strongly dislikes oppressors above all things.

「 trivia 」



▌ Vaska had always been more used to the body of an alicorn or that of a human's, but never both at the same time and space. It came as a surprise to him that within the school grounds he became neither but in between. Because of this he tends to bump into things often and find himself stuck in narrow doorways.

▌ Upon reaching the school, he was flabbergasted when he met humans from another realm who showed him a small device which had moving pictures within which they call "cartoons". It horrified him how their realm depicted magical horses similar to his kind. He was shown "My Little Pony" 1997.

▌ Among all the races he is most wary of humans because they're the ones most interested in power and immortality, and hunted alicorns the most. However he finds them intriguing because his family believed they're adaptable and progressive despite their short lifespans.

▌ "Alpheratz" is a name of a star which means "Horse's Navel" or simply "Horse".

▌ He badly wants to learn how to bake . . . but what's an oven?

▌ He murdered a lot of pillows by accident. Don't ask.







「 relations 」



▌ Vitaya : A dragon who coincidentally belongs in the same home realm. Vaska met this dragon in his early adolescence when he first snuck away from home; coming across an isolated island that can only be conveniently accessed through flight. Vaska was unaware dragons resided there.  At first Vitaya wanted to turn the young colt into his snack, but changed his mind because he wanted a playmate. They became friends ever since, and traveled together in search for the gateway to Luna Arcana's school of magic.

▌ Riesz : A female student who was kind enough to help the alicorn get free from a narrow doorway. Ever since their fated encounter within the school grounds, Vaska would often approach her—learning she belongs to a different realm from his—to explain technologies that are alien to him. She seems to have impeccable timing as she would often find him stuck somewhere . . .
